We are excited to announce that Debra Cook, the Technical Assistance Coordinator for the Washington Assistive Technology Program at University of Washington, will be presenting on Accessibility and its importance. In addition, we have a presentation by Dan Comden and Hadi Rangin, both also from the UW. Included in that presentation, Hadi will be doing a screen reader demonstration for the group.
Also speaking will be Andi Smith, Governor Inslee's Senior Policy Advisor for Human Services.
We are now taking RSVPs for the event at http://WA-GAAD.eventbright.com
The purpose of Global Accessibility Awareness Day is to get people talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) accessibility and users with different disabilities. This event will focus on accessibility awareness within WA State Government.
