Title: Development Research Analyst
Status: Full Time Regular
Location: Federal Way, WA
Starting Salary: Commensurate with experience

PURPOSE
To provide research, analysis, and report-writing in support of the
identification and cultivation of prospective major donors, including
individuals, corporations, and foundations. Communicate World Vision's
Christian ethos and demonstrate a quality of spiritual life that is an
example to others.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acquired through a
combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience, or
on-the-job training: Experience in prospect research, a bachelor's degree
in business, library science, communications, or a related field preferred,
or must have a minimum of three years' experience in a fund raising
environment with a knowledge of fund raising principles. Must have
excellent research, analytical, and writing skills. Ability to use word
processing and basic in-house computer systems and databases. Must be
self-motivated and have excellent organization skills. Must have high
integrity and maintain strict confidentiality. Must have the ability to
develop expertise in on-line database searching.
