Don't forget! APRA-NW is hosting a day-long conference in Portland on Friday, November 8, 2002. RSVP by noon on Wednesday to reserve a seat and a meal, or drop in with a bag lunch. We will accept payment at the door, so bring a check or correct change.

If you're coming from Seattle and would like to carpool, let us know, and we will try to connect you with other interested commuters.

Maryrose Larkin is an independent prospect researcher, with previous employment at the Kansas University Endowment Association and Portland State University. She is a former foundation editor for Internet Prospector. Maryrose has provided research and training for various organizations, including the Girl Scouts-Totem Council, the Hartsook Companies, the Collins Group and the National Kidney Foundation. Maryrose has led prospect research trainings at APRA-MoKan's Fall Conference, the 2000 APRA National Conference and several Big 12 Development Conferences. Nichols, Ph.D., CFRE has more than 20 years of experience in helping non-profits understand the impact of changing demographics on fundraising, memberships, and marketing. Her books, articles and workshops have brought her international recognition. Dr. Nichols is a featured columnist in Contributions magazine and is the editor of the newsletter Philanthropy Trends that Count.
