We are pleased to announce the February APRA-NW meeting, featuring research and financial analysis expert and president of Prospect Information Network (P!N) David Lawson, who will uncover the people and companies prospering in today's bear market, explain the methods used to find and rate successful private businesses, and examine the shifting economic climate as it relates to fundraising. This is a can't-miss opportunity for prospect researchers!

Parking is available in the Central Plaza Underground Parking Garage, just northwest of the Electrical Engineering building. The daily parking rate is $8, but refunds are distributed upon exit for visits under 4 hours.

David Lawson began his fundraising career as editor of six editions of The Foundation 500, from 1974 to 1981. In 1981, he founded The Information Prospector, which employed over 30 researchers and writers and produced 300 in-depth financial and biographical profiles monthly. In 1988, he created CDA/Investnet's (now Thomson Financial), Securities MATCH product and in 1994, he created both their real estate MATCH product and their FACT$ Viewer database. He also was the creator of "Wall Street for Fund Raisers" seminar. In 1997, David founded Prospect Information Network, a firm offering prospect identification and software to the nonprofit community. Mr. Lawson is a frequent conference speaker, a member of APRA, and a CASE Steuben Apple Award recipient.
