[APRA-NW] RSVP reminder for virtual seminar

Hi everyone,

APRA-NW will be holding the virtual seminar replay of "Promoting the Value of Research: Using Data for Metrics and Measurement," presented by Joshua Birkholz, this Firday at venues in Portland and Seattle. Come join us to hear Joshua Birkholz's presentation in this virtual seminar replay and share your own experiences and practices with measuring the success and benefits of research in a post-seminar discussion.

Please remember to send your RSVP by this Thurasday if you plan on attending. The virtual seminar starts at 9 AM so please be sure to get there beforehand to sign in!

Directions: If heading north on I-5, take Exit 165, Seneca Street (on left side), and continue straight on Seneca Ave. The IBM building is located immediately to your right when you exit on Seneca and 5th Ave. Parking garages are abundant around the building but there is also metered street parking with a 2 hour maximum.
Southbound on I-5, take the Exit 165B, Union Street. Turn left on 5th Ave and proceed one block to University Ave. Building will be on your left, between University and Seneca.

Session Description
The analysis of data within a prospect management system can be used to evaluate fundraising effectiveness, assist with strategic planning, and inform management decision making. Joshua Birkholz will examine what is important to monitor, how to establish benchmarks, and how to set up progress reporting and analysis.

Speaker Biography
Joshua Birkholz is the director of DonorCast, people-driven analytics by Bentz Whaley Flessner. His areas of specialty include data mining, metrics for nonprofit fundraising, and constituent relationship management.

Mr. Birkholz provides services and counsel in program and constituency analysis, segmentation, building data mining programs, developing strong prospect management and tracking methodologies, and implementing integrated prospect identification systems. His cutting-edge data analysis and information strategy techniques help clients to understand their people and maximize the impact of major, annual, and planned gift development.

Prior to coming to Bentz Whaley Flessner, Mr. Birkholz engineered analytics and metrics strategies as a data mining analyst for the University of Minnesota Foundation. He is a sought-after speaker and presenter in the field of analytics, prospecting and constituent relationship management.

Mr. Birkholz earned his bachelor of arts from Concordia University-St. Paul and his master of arts in arts administration from St. Mary's University in Winona, Minnesota.
