Successful Strategies for Fundraising in a Down Economy
Presented by Lawrence Henze, Target Analytics
We are currently in the throes of a national recession. The effects of these and other issues on nonprofits are numerous and frequently change the ways which money is raised as well as donor and prospect responses. This session speaks directly to positive steps you may make to fortify fundraising efforts and increase efficiency in the following areas: donor relations, annual giving, major giving, planned giving and special events - all from the prospective of a researcher.
Session Objectives

* How to assess your outreach efforts in an effort to consolidate communications without losing sight of your mission and goals
* How to solicit less frequently and maintain response rates and gift levels
* Major giving research in a recession
* How to make your planned giving efforts grow in a down economy
* How to position your organization to grow quickly when the economy rebounds
