[APRA-NW] Scholarship to APRA International in Minneapolis

APRA-NW is happy to fund a scholarship for one of our members to attend the APRA International conference in Minnesota in 2012. The scholarship covers the entire cost of registration at the APRA International member level, including the New Researcher Symposium or Data Analytics Symposium should the recipient desire to attend either. It does not cover transportation, boarding, or food expenses.

All forms of responses accepted; email preferred. Email applicants will receive verification that their application was received.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: All applications must be received by May 1, 2012, 5:00 PM PST.
If you must also apply to be an APRA-NW member at that time, please do so on our website at www.APRA-NW.org<http://www.APRA-NW.org> by May 1, 2012. APRA-NW membership is required.
The scholarship recipient will be announced at the APRA-NW Spring Conference in Seattle on May 18 and will be notified via email if not present.

The scholarship recipient will be chosen from an applicant pool based on involvement with the state chapter and with APRA International, previous workshops or conferences attended, background in prospect research or prospect management, reasons for wanting the scholarship, and financial need.
A subcommittee will choose the international scholarship recipient.
International scholarships recipients are not eligible for the following year's APRA-NW International Scholarship but may reapply thereafter.
Board members are ineligible for APRA-NW's international scholarships.

Application for the APRA-NW International Scholarship
To be eligible for the APRA-NW scholarship to the APRA International 2012 Conference, you must be an APRA-NW member in good standing, hold a position that is at least 50% research or prospect management-oriented, and agree to present on the conference at your local chapter recap or via e-communication to APRA-NW membership. You do not need to be a current member of APRA International to be eligible, but if you are not, you are responsible for the cost of conference registration above and beyond the member rate.
