The University of Washington is seeking a Research Strategist to join their team.
The Research Strategist identifies profiles and prioritizes potential major gift donors to the University of Washington, enhancing the University's fundraising efforts. This position strategizes with advancement officers, assistant deans and the assistant vice president for advancement regarding prospect identification, and collaborates with them to develop cultivation and solicitation strategies to engage major gift prospects and secure major gifts. The research strategist provides these clients with written, visual and spreadsheet reports about specific donors or prospect groups, containing an analysis of information gathered from public sources and recommended courses of action. He/she also researches, captures and safeguards major gift prospects' biographical and financial information, their relationships with the UW and their movement through the donor continuum and portfolio pipeline.
