I see that it is properly submitted and posted to the errata. Good.

Whenever someone asks that particular question, we answer it.

In order for a developer to have asked that question, he must already have
read the specification. That sufficies for any "RTFM" purpose. He does not
need to be put through additional hoops.

If he asks if the document is going to be fixed, then we say "we already
have an errata on file for it."
