[linux] Dynamic Drive Overlay (DDO) is evil

here's the problem:

The mbr on /dev/hda has already been overwritten,
since I ran lilo again (right?)... so, can I fdisk
/MBR and do anything to the secondary slave drive?
That appears to be where the problem lies.
