Author Neal Stephenson will be at UW Tuesday, September 23, reading
and signing his new book _Quicksilver_ at 7pm.
This has nothing to do with Linux strictly (though his book
_In the Beginning Was The Command Line_ praises Linux).

Quicksilver: Volume One of the Baroque Cycle
Reading & Book Signing
UW Kane Hall 130
Neal Stephenson is finally back! Come listen to him read from Quicksilver, the
most anticipated science fiction novel of the year, and celebrate the release
of his follow-up to Cryptonomicon. Special signing guidelines: Neal will sign
one non-Quicksilver item for every copy of Quicksilver purchased at the store
and signed by him on-site. No flash photography is to be taken during the
event. Digital cameras are fine. Videotaping for personal use is also okay, but
should be done from the audience area and not in close proximity to Mr.
Stephenson (i.e. at the signing table, etc.).
Ticket Required - tickets available beginning September 1 at all our locations,
while supplies last.
