Hello NIBEN Community,

An upcoming opportunity to hear from three U.S. Ambassadors to SE Asia as well as colleagues from the UW Jackson School of International Studies is being held in Seattle on 6/22. In collaboration with the US-ASEAN Business Council, the Jackson School of International Studies and Center for Southeast Asia and its Diasporas are hosting the US Ambassadors to ASEAN, Malaysia, and the Philippines for a panel discussion on June 22nd. Details are attached and below.

This event is part of the US-ASEAN Business Council's U.S. Ambassadors' Tour. The tour is designed to promote greater awareness of the political, social, and economic significance of America's relationship with ASEAN and the bilateral relationships with ASEAN member states. Topics of discussion include the U.S. political, economic and security role in Southeast Asia, the importance of US global leadership as the APEC host, and life as foreign service officials.
