[Ssnet_list] Job: Assistant Teaching Professor in Technical & Professional Communication (3 positions)

The English Department at the University of Washington Seattle invites
applications for up to three Assistant Teaching Professor positions,
specializing in Technical and Professional Communication (TPC). These
positions are situated in the Program for Writing Across Campus (formerly
known as the Interdisciplinary Writing Program), and will have an
anticipated start date of September 2023. These are full-time, 9-month,
3-year renewable (promotion eligible but not tenure-track) positions.
(Renewal length increases with promotion.) Situated within a vibrant
community of language and writing scholars, these faculty will be expected
to teach 5 courses per year of TPC or related topics, and they will have a
wide variety of opportunities for service, program administration and
development, student mentorship, and the formation of campus/community
partnerships. We are looking for a colleague who has a background in TPC or
related field, and who centers antiracist, accessible teaching. For more
