[Histmaj] Udall Undergraduate Scholarship is OPEN for UW nominations!

Hello Colleague-friends,
I wanted to be sure that you got the info about the Udall Undergraduate Scholarship<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/udall.gov/OurPrograms/Scholarship/Scholarship.aspx__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!goh72rZTEPN0_2Nkcm6nrVNyvIf0sxxwMi2fguXPE4bqylMfzmj-O3vourbCmkN5GvlWvccRzw3LqEBx579YhSSJzF_6pJCs$> to share with your students.
We have had scholars and honorable mentions for the past few years (including most recently in 2025<https://scholarships.uw.edu/featured-scholarships/scholarships/udall-undergraduate-scholarships/2025-lorenzo-mccleese/>!), and I am keen to support students again this cycle!
These are great opportunities; I really hope your students consider applying for an Udall Undergraduate Scholarship.

As you may remember, in addition to being open to ALL students interested in conservation and environmental issues, the Udall Foundation is specifically committed to supporting Native American and Alaska Native students who are focused on Native Health Care and Tribal Policy (in the broadest sense!). If you have sophomores and juniors who have these interests and hold these identities, please do send them the Udall Scholarship info. I am happy to answer questions from any and all interested students - but highly recommend that they attend the upcoming Udall Info Session first, if possible!

US citizenship or permanent residency required. Four nominations are available for students committed to environmental careers and four for students interested in Tribal Policy/Native Healthcare.
