I am writing on behalf of Anthropology to share the announcement of this
year's Sam Dubal Memorial Lecture. Dr. Natali Valdez

will speak about her recent book *Weighing the Future: Race, Science, and
Pregnancy Trials in the Postgenomic Era *(UC Press, 2022). The lecture is
online via zoom.

We also have a great line-up of speakers for our annual Medical
Anthropology & Global Health seminar series. These talks are online via
zoom every Friday, 1:30-2:50pm, and links to join and details on speakers
are in the attached document.
